Material Handler 2nd shift

Job Summary

Responsible for movement of raw materials finished products and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes hoists hand trucks and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.

Job Description

Pay $19.00 per hour plus $.50 shift premium for 2nd shift.

Key Accountabilities :

• Accurately removes and stocks product customers product and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and veri f y that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking processing and packing orders also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates support and comply with all health safety ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
