Financial analyst junior

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and service-focused Financial Analyst Junior. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate basis records and ensuring timely, correct Gain / Loss reporting for customer assets. The representative will serve as the primary point of contact for branch inquiries on a diverse range of complex cost basis topics, driving issue resolution and providing essential regulatory and technical guidance. This is a temporary role ending 11 / 2026.

salary : $23.36 - $23.37 per hour

shift : First

work hours : 8 AM - 5 PM

education : High School

Responsibilities

• Execute necessary manual adjustments to basis records to ensure accuracy and compliance, requiring an understanding of underlying tax regulations and accounting principles.
• Provide educational and regulatory insight to branch personnel regarding IRS regulations governing cost basis (e.g., the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 and subsequent amendments) and internal policies.
• Identify and escalate recurring issues or systemic problems to management to improve overall cost basis reporting and operational efficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to all internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to basis record-keeping and tax reporting.
• Act as the subject matter expert to answer and resolve branch inquiries related to Gain / Loss topics
