As a Product Manager in Client 360, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities include :
- Developing a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Managing discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owning, maintaining, and developing a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Building the framework and tracking the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Developing and executing the overall strategy for C360 data products, focusing on design, usability, and alignment with CIB's business goals, while creating and maintaining comprehensive product roadmaps that incorporate feedback, market trends, and regulatory considerations
- Becoming an expert in key C360 data product domains (JPMC client data, including definition of a client, contacts, coverage, interactions, financials), understanding how these domains intersect and their temporal requirements, and staying versed in current and evolving best practices for managing and structuring data products and capabilities
- Gathering and prioritizing requirements from diverse stakeholders, including business units, risk management, compliance, and technology teams, and fostering strong relationships with internal partners to drive adoption and maximize the value of data products across the organization
- Collaborating with data product delivery, engineering, data science, and UX teams to define product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an Agile framework
- Guiding data architects in defining and refining data product schemas, models, and architectures to effectively support key use cases such as analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications, and implementing data modeling techniques that accelerate ML and LLM initiatives to create breakthrough insights and efficiencies
- Measuring and driving adoption of C360 data products across the JPMC wholesale banking organization, monitoring product performance post-launch, analyzing metrics to identify improvements, and iterating on designs
- Ensuring data products adhere to JPMorgan Chase's standards for data governance, security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, and financial regulations)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include :
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldProven track record in gathering stakeholder requirements, creating roadmaps, and guiding technical teams in data schema design and implementationStrong understanding of data architectures, including databases (SQL / NoSQL), data lakes, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in commercial or investment banking, with knowledge of regulatory and risk management frameworksProficiency in Agile methodologies, with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar for backlog managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and translate complex technical concepts into business termsAnalytical mindset with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include :
