A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Triaging, facilitating, and problem-solving all referrals and faxes received from external sources
Processing incoming referrals according to established standards and entering data into the Epic EMR system
Communicating with referring providers and other clinicians to ensure accurate and complete referral information
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in an ambulatory health care clinic, or
Associate's degree with 4 years of experience in an ambulatory health care clinic, or
High School Diploma with 6 years of experience in an ambulatory health care clinic
Experience with data entry and attention to detail
Ability to identify challenges and barriers in the referral process
