DE / SAR Licensed Underwriter

A company is looking for an Underwriter (DE / SAR).

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite 2-3 new loans daily while analyzing borrower information to ensure compliance with guidelines

Maintain 24-48 hour turn times and clear UTC conditions within 24 hours

Stay updated on guideline changes and assist in developing junior underwriters and processors

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of underwriting experience with comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage business

Experience with FHA, VA, USDA, and Agency loans

Direct Endorsement (DE) certification required; LAPP / SAR preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Experience with Encompass preferred
