Salary : $90,000 base + up to $22,500 performance bonus (OTE $112,500)
Build the inside-sales function that powers our field. At Do It Right Plumbers (Orange County), youll turn the call center into a revenue enginedeveloping outbound strategies, coaching CSRs, and book jobs thataddress the full scope of customer needs. This is a builder role, not a corporate maintenance gig.
About the Role
Youll launch and lead a small but mighty call center / inside-sales team. Your focus : proactive outbound todrive booked jobs today and a repeatable pipeline tomorrow, whileoptimizing daily call center operations for revenue and technician utilization. Youll model the calls early, install playbooks, coach to metrics, and scalethe function as we grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop outbound strategies for unsold estimates, maintenance appointments, and identifyopportunities to add value during the call.
- Call unsold estimates immediatelywhile the technician is still on-site when possibleto help close,rehash by sending another tech, or secure a follow-up conversation.
- Run monthly maintenance appointment campaigns; build seasonal outbound calendars.
- Target neighborhood wins after successful jobs; drive local demand.
- Create inbound / outbound time block schedules; ensure zero lead leakage.
- Train CSRs on consultative booking, tone, curiosity, and scripts.
- Coach to conversion, run rate, average ticket, same-day close.
- Build QA scorecards; run weekly call-listens and calibrations.
- Create dashboards in ServiceTitan; maintain data accuracy.
- Jump on phones during ramp and coverage gaps; set the bar.
- Hire and develop bench; propose future CSR Supervisor split.
- Partner with Owner / Marketing on offers, scripts, and targeting.
Qualifications
Required
3+ years phone-based outbound sales (home services, timeshare, or similar).Proven record lifting booked rate, show rate, and average ticket.Team lead or manager experience in lean, build-from-scratch settings.Strong coaching chops : scripting, objection handling, tone, pacing.ServiceTitan or comparable field-service CRM proficiency.Excel / Google Sheets competency; build and explain dashboards.Onsite daily in Santa Ana, 7 : 00am5 : 00pm, MonFri.Preferred
Residential plumbing / HVAC / electrical experience.Dialer / SMS tools (e.g., power dialers, texting platforms).Call center optimization for revenue and conversion.Interviewing / hiring CSRs and sales agents.Bilingual English / Spanish.Schedule & Work Environment
Onsite; Santa Ana office.Core hours : 7 : 00am5 : 00pm, MonFri.Occasional Saturday or extended coverage during peak demand.Compensation
Base : $90,000.Performance Bonus : Up to $22,500 tied to KPIs (booked %, outbound conversion %, run rate,average ticket lift, QA score, data accuracy).On-Target Earnings (OTE) : $112,500.Exempt role : no overtime; bonus plan provides upside.Benefits
