• Duties
• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any conditions.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
• Perform surgical procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Provide emergency care and critical care management for animals in need.
• Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive health care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education.
• Skills
• Proficient in veterinary critical care practices to manage acute conditions effectively.
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology.
• Experience with aseptic techniques to ensure safe surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with animal husbandry practices to promote overall animal well-being.
• Ability to provide comprehensive animal care, including grooming and routine health assessments.
• Competence in laboratory procedures for diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
• A passion for pet care that drives a commitment to improving the lives of animals.
