Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Title : Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Location : Oxford, NC

Setting : Outpatient Urgent Care center

Shifts : Mon - Fri with rotating weekends

Urgent Care NP Responsibilities :

• Providing care to patients with Urgent needs
• Educating patients and their families about their condition and what they should expect from the treatment plan
• Performing examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the patient's condition
• Communicating with physicians to determine the best care plan for every patient

Qualifications :

State-mandated nursing license(s)

Bachelor's degree in nursing with a focus in Urgent care

Previous nursing experience preferred

Availability to work odd hours

Knowledge of Urgent conditions and treatments

Ability to perform diagnostic tests and administer medication
