Location : Vero Beach, FL 32960 (Florida healthcare jobs)

Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital

Position Type : Travel Contract – Cath Lab Technologist

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 6, 2026

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06 : 30 - 17 : 00)

Weekly Hours : 40

On-Call : Evening & weekend on-call required

Parking : Free in any unrestricted space

Scrub Color : Ceil Blue

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2250 - $2310

CT / Rad Tech Qualifications

Minimum 18 months Cath Lab Tech or Radiologic Technologist experience (2 years preferred)

Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred

RCIS certification preferred

Active AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required

ARRT R certification required (Radiologic Technologist)

Nicotine-free (negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen required)

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

References : Two from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months

All requested time off must be included at time of submission

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions only)

CT / Rad Tech Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab

Assist with cardiac implant closure devices, stent placements, and left / right heart catheterizations

Set up imaging equipment and maintain sterile field for all procedures

Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias

Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate clinical documentation

Provide patient care for middle and older adult populations

Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and weekends as required

Float to other hospital units within scope as needed

Complete required modules and assessments during orientation
