Beginning Reading Teacher
The Sylvan Learning Center in Overland Park is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to inspire and help our students achieve academic excellence.
We are currently accepting applications for Beginning Reading ( Pre-K-2nd ) Teachers.

It's JUST TEACHING - NO LESSON PLANNING!
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree
- Teaching Credential (current or expired)
- A strong background in phonics, phonemic awareness, and comprehension
- Experience with early learners
- Comfortable using manipulatives and other materials to supplement instruction
Available Instructional Hours (regular hours all year) :
Monday-Thursday 4 : 30-7 : 30
Saturday 9 : 30-12 : 30
June 3rd-August 3rd 2024 added Instructional Hours :
Monday-Friday 9 : 30-12 : 30 (mornings)
