Carpenter Position

Mission Support Services (MS2) within Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a full time Carpenter in Green Bay, WI. (Must have experience)

Compensation : $25-$30 hourly

Job Duties / Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

• Work with wood; including measuring and marking lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
• Install blocking and wood trim.
• Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob and level.
• Measure, cut, hammer, screw, nail, level, square, plumb, pry and clamp wood, lumber, plywood and other materials employed in framing.
• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Maintain the project in a neat orderly fashion. Stack and maintain all materials in a designated area. Broom-clean the site daily. Remove construction debris as early as feasible. Lock and secure the premises at the end of each day before leaving.
• Working with siding and millwork such as doors and hardware and cabinetry.
• Also possibility of small asphalt roofing projects or small concrete slab projects.
