Job Summary
Client is currently looking for an Oracle Cloud ERP Report Developer. This position involves reviewing report requirements with the business and ensuring they are thoroughly documented for various needs within the Client ERP system. The role includes coding and validating reports while adhering to development standards, including versioning and release protocols. As part of an agile product team, the developer will collaborate with and mentor other developers and analysts, serving as a valuable resource for IT Business Partners and other IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reports using various methodologies such as BIP, OTBI, and BICC.
- Engage in cross‑functional discussions to analyze business requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Perform unit testing and direct system and end‑user test planning and testing.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements for changes or enhancements and prepare system designs and specifications.
- Diagnose system failures, correct issues, and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
- Define technical specifications, consult with Business Partners regarding technical possibilities and limitations.
- Assist IT’s Business Partners with clarifying and prioritizing defects and enhancements.
- Identify standard processes, procedures, and best practices and recommend them.
- Provide training, professional support, and mentoring to Application Developers and other Analysts.
- Support Oracle ERP upgrade schedules (Legislative, Quarterly, CWB).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.3+ years technical experience supporting, maintaining, and developing in Oracle Cloud ERP.3+ years IT analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and implementing program changes.3+ years utilizing SQL, data migration patterns (file and service based).In‑depth knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud data, table structures, and project implementation processes.Expertise in BI Publisher for report creation and customization.Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies, including SQL and PL / SQL.Experience utilizing Microsoft Office tools.Good understanding of system infrastructure and ability to integrate proposed changes into the current infrastructure.Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver on them.Ability to provide technical support for vended applications owned by the team.Develop and unit test technical components as per development standards.Excellent communication skills in technical and non‑technical vernacular.Excellent technical writing abilities and documentation.Project leadership experience on midsized projects.Expertise with more than one system development methodology.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.Able to be on‑call 24×7 in areas of expertise.Preferred Qualifications
3 years healthcare / health plan IT experience.Functional experience in any of the HCM, ERP, and SCM business areas.Familiarity with FRS, OTBI, and FDI reporting tools.Experience extracting data via HCM Extracts and BICC.Other skills : ESS job management / automation, Bursting, Flex Fields (DFF, EFF, KFF), Lookups, Value Sets.Location & Schedule
Position may work remotely but local / regional applicants are ideal for occasional onsite meetings. Schedule : M–F; Days. Will participate in an off‑hour on‑call support rotation (nights, weekends, holidays).
