Join the Service team at Alliance Laundry Systems and put your mechanical know‑how to work installing, servicing, and repairing commercial laundry equipment for customers throughout the Southside of Seattle, WA. You’ll be the trusted expert on-site, bringing machines online, diagnosing issues, advising operators, and ensuring every job meets our quality, safety, and documentation standards.
A day in the life
- Start your morning by reviewing ticketed work orders, confirming parts availability, and mapping your route in your company vehicle.
- Head on-site to install and start up commercial laundry equipment, verify safe operation, and walk customers through proper use.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, interpret schematics, and resolve problems efficiently—ordering or collecting parts when needed.
- Field unscheduled / emergency requests assigned by the Service Manager and communicate any escalations promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance, disassemble / reassemble components for repairs, and keep accurate service notes.
- Maintain vehicle inventory, manage expense reporting, and help improve service practices and processes.
What you’ll own
End‑to‑end equipment installation, start‑up, and customer handoff.On‑site troubleshooting and repair, including single‑phase electrical work.Clear explanations of findings, recommendations, and operating guidance for clients.Accurate work summaries, parts ordering, and invoice / work order reviews to meet deadlines.Collaboration with the Service Manager on escalations and continuous improvement.What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years’ experience in commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair preferred; equivalent education / training / experience considered.Working knowledge of single‑phase electric power equipment (required).Familiarity with phone / email / ticketing dispatch systems preferred.Basic computer skills : Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.Skills to thrive
Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read and interpret electrical / mechanical drawings and diagnose issues independently.Organized and detail‑oriented; able to juggle multiple jobs and meet deadlines.Professional communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal—with a positive, enthusiastic approach.Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable with change; proactive self‑starter with strong initiative and tenacity.Travel
Substantial travel within the assigned service territory (South Seattle and surrounding areas).Occasional overnight travel for special projects.Standard and physical requirements
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and manual dexterity.Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently; assistive devices are provided for heavier items.Regular talking / hearing; frequent hand use; periods of computer work requiring close vision and focus adjustment.Valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record; company vehicle may be provided.What’s in it for you

Washington base pay range : $28.00–$32.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
