About the Company

The Lexington, KY VA Healthcare System (LVAHCS) is seeking highly motivated Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists to join our team.

About the Role

Positions are 95% Clinical, 5% admin with an annual average of 7,000 RVU. Potential Co-op opportunities with medical center co-located with the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Enjoy excellent work-life balance with set Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends, and no on-call time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services.
  • Participate in administrative duties as required.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
  • Required Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in radiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with the latest radiology technologies and techniques.
  • Pay range and compensation package

    Outstanding Co-Op Opportunity - Recruitment / Relocation Incentives – Quality of Life.

    Recruitment Incentives are Offered, up to 50% of base salary.

    Pay : Salary range of $360-$400,000, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

    Paid Time Off 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, and possible 5-day paid absence for CME)

    Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

    Insurance : Federal health / vision / dental / term life / long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)

    Malpractice : Free liability protection with tail coverage provided

    Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
