Description

Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical / surgical patients. We provide hospice and end of life services.

Apply the full nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate) to provide high-quality care.

Serve as a resource for others and may take on expanded roles intermittently.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.

Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

Preferred Certification : BLS (AHA / ARC)
