Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) with a current VA state license, ARRT, and BLS (AHA) certification for a 13-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an invasive radiology lab setting
  • Shifts are 10 hours, from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM
  • On-call required two nights per week and one weekend per month
  • Patient care is conducted exclusively in the lab
  • Uses Epic EMR for invasive radiology documentation
  • Unit provides a one-week orientation for all new staff
  • Scrubs are provided in maroon color
  • On-call and holiday coverage are required and rotate with core staff
  • Weekend coverage is fulfilled by on-call assignments

  • Active VA state license required if applicable
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Vascular Interventional Registry required
  • Must have critical care experience
  • Ability to meet 1-hour on-call response time
