Maintain and operate a magnetic particle inspection system
Perform magnetic particle inspections on components following established procedures and standards including the following.
a) QWI-1021- Mag Particle Inspection
b) QWI-1022- NDT-Certification Requirements
c) QWI-1023- Mag Particle Tech Sheet
d) QWI-1024- MT Equipment Verification Sh.4
Set up and calibrate MPI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accurate results.
Conduct inspections on parts to identify surface and near-surface defects, such as cracks, porosity, and other discontinuities.
Interpret and evaluate inspection results, documenting findings accurately and preparing detailed inspection reports.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Production to troubleshoot and resolve MPI-related issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all inspections and testing activities.
Perform periodic equipment maintenance and ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical education in NDT methods is preferred.
Attention to detail and accuracy in recording inspection results and preparing reports.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be available for training and be able to pass Certification Exam upon completion of the training.

Training Objectives :
Complete Mag Particle Inspection Level II Training and pass certification exam.
Become familiar with all internal work instructions and procedures related to Mag Particle Inspection.
Compensation details : 23-23 Hourly Wage
