We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee our therapy department and lead a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) Responsibilities
·Oversee daily operations of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy departments
·Lead, mentor, and manage therapy staff to achieve clinical and operational goals
·Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
·Monitor documentation accuracy, billing compliance, and productivity standards
·Collaborate with Nursing, Social Services, and Admissions to coordinate quality care
·Support interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning
·Promote resident satisfaction and strong clinical outcomes
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) Qualifications
·Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Florida (required)
·Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
·Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
·Knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and documentation requirements
·Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
