Contract Manufacturing Specialist

Production Planner

Plans and establish production schedules. Monitor materials inventories, track progress of production, and review factors which affect schedules.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• Review demand and create production schedules on primary and secondary operations to meet and exceed service expectations of the customer.
• Maintain all planning master data.
• Monitor raw materials inventory levels and focus on meeting monthly inventory targets.
• Manage supplier relationships and provide feedback to ensure customer needs are met.
• Review demand and execute purchases to support manufacturing distribution.
• Primary communicator to sales and customer support around orders and lead times.
• Participate in departmental "load balancing" with new vendors as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements : Ability to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally to support the business, including overnight stays and extended work hours during work meetings, travel may include weekends. Ability to obtain a passport.
