Position Overview
Pathways to Wellness is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our clinical team in Clarksville, TN. This hybrid position includes in-person services at our Clarksville location and virtual telehealth sessions to support clients across Tennessee.
The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes, comfortable with hybrid service delivery, and skilled in providing trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management
- Provide in-person clinical services at the Clarksville practice location
- Deliver telehealth appointments using secure virtual platforms
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, case managers, and support staff
- Maintain accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant documentation
- Follow state and federal practice guidelines, including controlled substance regulations
- Participate in clinical meetings and case reviews as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Tennessee APRN license -requiredBoard Certified PMHNP-BC (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) – requiredActive, unrestricted DEA license – requiredOne (1) year minimum post-certification experience as a PMHNPExperience conducting psychiatric assessments and medication managementFamiliarity with telehealth and virtual care toolsPreferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient mental health, or integrated care settingsAbility to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary teamStrong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skillsSchedule & Work Environment
