Hiring a Lab Technician in Sparks, NV!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wet Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment, supporting mineral analysis and metallurgical testing. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process samples for various wet lab analyses.
  • Operate specialized lab equipment including ball mills, flotation machines, balances, pH meters, and titration tools.
  • Conduct chemical tests and measurements with precision and care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, daily logs, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with general lab duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors in Chemistry or related discipline preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
  • Sample preparation and documentation preferred.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Capable of bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be clean-shaven where respirator contacts the face.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals such as NaCN, H₂O₂, and lime.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
