Job Description

American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking an LPN to join our state psychiatric / corrections medical team in Staunton, VA. This facility is a state psychiatric hospital with a mix of forensic psychiatric and developmentally disabled patients. This facility takes pride in setting its contractors up for success and has a 3-4 week orientation that occurs Monday-Friday 8a-5p. Clinician's must be available for the entirety of orientation.

State Psychiatric / Correctional LPN Job Details :

• Pay Rate : $1,702 - $1,902 per week
• Schedule : 11 - 11, Every other weekend, Holidays as needed
• Available Shift : 2 12's and 2 8's (Shift Times : 3p-11 : 30p & 11a-11 : 30p), 4 shifts per week
• Start Date : Orientations are held monthly on the 10th. If 10th fall on a weekend or holiday, orientation will start on the next business day.
• Located In : Staunton, Virginia
• Requirements : Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections / state psychiatric or similar setting, have a valid LPN license and be willing to obtain VA and / or compact licensure.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a state psychiatric / correctional care setting, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, promoting their well-being and rehabilitation. This position works in partnership with a team of correctional staff and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. Responsibilities include :
