POSITION OVERVIEW
We are eager to welcome a mid-level Designer with a solid foundation in interior design and 6-8 years of professional experience to our collaborative, growth-oriented studio. PDG seeks designers who think critically, communicate effectively, and engage hands-on across all phases—from concept development to documentation, coordination, and installation. Ideal candidates will thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment, contributing to thoughtful designs and exceptional client experiences.
This is an on-site role in Boston, MA (02118), necessitating in-office work and travel to project site meetings.

Support and manage design projects from inception through to completion, ensuring design intent remains consistent.Develop and refine design concepts, presentations, and material palettes.Create and redline detailed drawings using AutoCAD and / or Revit.Conduct site measurements and document existing conditions.Research materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with design intent and budget.Collaborate closely with clients, architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors to maintain design integrity during construction and installation.Prepare and present client deliverables, including drawings, mood boards, renderings, and concept decks.Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and logs throughout the process.Contribute positively to team culture while demonstrating leadership, mentorship, and collaboration.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.6-8 years of professional experience in interior design, ideally with both residential and commercial work.Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong technical documentation skills and comprehension of design phases (SD / DD / CD).Thorough knowledge in material sourcing, specifications, custom furnishings, and construction / renovation processes.Exceptional communication, organizational abilities, and follow-through skills.Capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize efficiently, and meet deadlines.Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines while maintaining positive client relationships.WHAT WE OFFER
