As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail location you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post where you will regularly traverse the premises maintain a visible presence and assist with any security-related concerns that may arise. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by communicating clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies including responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment for visitors. Support access control measures by observing entrances exits and / or sensitive areas. Document incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements. Assist customers visitors and staff with inquiries and directions as needed during patrols. Work collaboratively with store employees and management to address concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
