San Luis Valley Health is seeking a full-time Limited Scope Tech to join our Imaging Team!
What You'll Need :
- Limited Scope X-Ray (LSRT) certificate or certification through the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
- Successful completion of the first year of an ARRT-accredited program that meets Limited Scope X-Ray (LRST) certification per CDPHE guidelines.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
What You'll Do :
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.Maintains and ensures radiologic equipment remains in working order by performing routine maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions and arranging for repairs.Perform x-ray, medical and testing procedures under the direct supervision of a registered x-ray technologistCleaning x-ray room and equipment dailyPerforming general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, filing, and scheduling of incoming patients, as necessary.Moving equipment into specified position, preparing room, contrast material, and other materials needed to perform procedures as needed.Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.We Take Care of Our People
