Lynette’s TLC Home Services is expanding as the PRIMARY PROVIDER for Gwinnett County’s Respite & Personal Care program!

We’re looking for caring, dependable CNAs, PCAs, and experienced caregivers who want to make a real difference while enjoying a schedule that works for you .

Competitive Pay : Starts at $15 / hr + higher rates on weekends & holidays

Flexible Scheduling : Build your hours by serving multiple clients in one day (4-hour Respite Care visits & 2-hour Personal Care visits)

NEW DAILY PAY OPTION! Caregivers can choose to get paid early through our ADP DailyPay program—access your earnings when you need them

Consistent Hours : Services provided Monday–Friday (8am–6pm) + approved weekends / holidays

A background check is required through IDEMIA. If you have completed a fingerprint background check you are probably in the system. If not please be prepared to purchase one. We do not set the prices.

Qualifications & Education :

o High School Diploma or GED required

o One year-full time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting; or

o Evidence of sympathetic, compassionate, and caring demeanor

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.

o Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

o Attend eight (8) hours of personal care-oriented services per year.

o Must have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered a position with the agency

Responsibilities :

o Provide personal hygiene assistance

o Provide assistance with daily living activities

o Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities

o Meal preparation

o Perform light housekeeping around client areas

o Other duties as assigned

Additional Requirements :

o Assess and communicate with ill clients, co-workers and general public.

o Must be neat in appearance and practice good personal hygiene.

o Must have a reliable means of transportation.

o Must have a valid proof a negative TB test, or be willing to get tested.

Must have CPR and First Aid certifications from a recognized provider
