Nurse Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as Registered Professional Staff Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
• Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Knowledge of PCMH, DSRIP, Meaningful Use and HEDIS programs.
• Ability to lead and be a change agent.
• Excellent customer service skills, responsible for meeting deadline, punctual
• Effective written and verbal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills

Job Description

Leads and directs all nursing and quality management activities of the Hemodialysis Center, Joint Commission compliance, performance improvement, and infection control. Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the ambulatory network. Works with senior management to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Works closely with the senior clinical and administrative teams to improve overall quality of care and service through continuous performance improvement.

Assists with the planning, organization, and day-to-day clinical operation of the Dialysis inpatient and outpatient units to meet the goals of TBHC, as well as meet the requirements of The Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. Promotes the department, divisional, hospital goals, objectives in accordance with established hospital standards. Provides direct patient care as needed
