Job Purpose
The Senior OCM Lead will play a strategic role in driving organizational transformation by applying advanced change management practices such as Prosci’s ADKAR and Kotter models. This role is responsible for ensuring successful adoption of key initiatives by designing, executing, and measuring comprehensive OCM strategies. The position requires experience with both Agile (SAFe) and Waterfall delivery approaches and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership and executive teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Change Strategy & Execution : Develop and lead holistic change management strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Methodology Integration : Support change adoption in mixed delivery frameworks, including Agile (SAFe PI Planning) and Waterfall.
- Stakeholder & Resistance Management : Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder interviews, and implement resistance management plans to accelerate adoption.
- Communication : Create and deliver targeted communication strategies for diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
- Enablement & Training : Design and implement onboarding, mentoring, and buddy programs to support new processes and systems.
- Community of Practice : Establish and guide a Change Management Community of Practice to share knowledge and best practices.
- Facilitation & Engagement : Lead workshops, webinars, Lean Coffee sessions, and other interactive forums using collaboration tools such as Mural, FigJam, and MS Teams Whiteboard.
- Measurement & Reporting : Implement ADKAR-based surveys, define adoption metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Tool Proficiency : Apply strong skills in MS Office (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Word) and virtual engagement tools (polls, surveys, breakout rooms).
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in leading organizational change initiatives in large-scale environments.Deep knowledge of OCM methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR or Kotter’s 8 Steps.Strong background in Agile and Lean-Agile practices, including SAFe PI Planning, JIRA, and Confluence.Certification in a recognized change management methodology (Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent).Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and servant leadership skills.Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders and executives.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to measure adoption effectiveness.Preferred Qualifications
SAFe certification (Agilist, Practitioner, RTE, or Coach).Previous experience working with clients in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.Background in continuous process improvement methodologies.
