Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,963 per week in Columbia, SC

This is a day shift position with 10-hour shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM. One to two call days per week will be required. Call during the week will start at 5 PM. One call weekend every five weeks is required. Weekend call begins Saturday at 7 AM and ends Monday at 7 AM, totaling 48 hours. The traveler will need to float within scope based on facility needs. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. First-time travelers will be accepted. A South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license is required. BLS certification is mandatory. Candidates must provide a radiation badge supplied by the agency. The facility has a total of 304 staffed beds. Charting is done through a designated system. The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics. The daily census ratio is 1 : 1. The unit contains a total of 9 beds. An interdisciplinary team supports patient care needs. Interdisciplinary support includes several specialized services. The facility may prioritize non-local candidates for this position. All time off must be declared at the time of application. The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks. Recognize potential weather-related emergencies during the designated season.
