Lead Instructor Highlights
We are currently hiring for a Lead Instructor with confidence in working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pilates and helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. A desire for continuing education and strong interpersonal skills are a must. The lead instructor will also provide coaching and mentorship to fellow instructors with a strong leadership position in the studio(s).

450+ hour comprehensive Pilates educationAt least 2 years of teaching experienceCapable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercisesPleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skillsExperience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus-based group classDemonstrated group Reformer instruction abilitiesPrevious leadership or management experienceProfessional and effective communication skillsWillingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically PilatesPassion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminarsPunctual and reliableCore Responsibilities
Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experienceDemonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety with the ability to provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries and / or limitationsStay up to date with, and implement Club Pilates education standards at all timesDevelop and create class plans that are safe, effective, and challenging pursuant to Club Pilates standardsProvide Pilates instruction to include Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduledMaintain open availability for a minimum of 15 hours per weekParticipation in monthly Lead Instructor conference calls and subsequent training of staff regarding topics covered on these callsRegularly inspect equipment for damage or wear and make recommendations to management about updatesTrack and review other Pilates Instructors for proficiency and performanceProvide support and mentorship to Pilates Instructors to uphold Club Pilates standards, while fostering a positive and collaborative team cultureAny other duties as assignedDO PILATES.
