• Recent Epic experience required (within the last 6 months)
• Experience in Medical Surgical and Orthopedic patient population
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics.

The nurse will work a 12-hour day shift.

The staff-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Float requirements include working in units of equal or lesser acuity.

The unit has a centralized telemetry monitoring system.

Interdisciplinary support services are available, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.

Patient Care Technicians and Transporters are available for assistance.

There will be daily interactions with a variety of patient demographics, including adults and geriatrics.

Nurses are expected to provide care for patients undergoing total joint replacements, wound care, and other medical-surgical needs.

Discounted meal options are available.

This position does not permit travel pairs or groups, and candidates must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility.

Previous permanent staff members must have been away for at least one year before they can return as a traveler.
