We are partnered with a well-established law firm seeking an Accounting Associate to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting a busy accounting department with a wide range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and manage expense data in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and post journal entries as directed by department leads.
• Update and maintain QuickBooks customer records in coordination with the accounting team.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for firm credit cards and vendor accounts.
• Review medical record charges monthly and assign them accurately to client matters.
• Download and organize invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation for various vendor charges.
• Maintain electronic client accounting files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the review of settlement statements and preparation of client distributions.
• Generate and run client expense ledgers upon request by case teams.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support, including mailing, correspondence, and other departmental tasks as needed.
