Job Summary

Setup and operate television cameras on a daily basis for Fair Ground’s live and taped simulcast production. In addition to camera operation, this position will assist in changing televisions displays on the Fair Grounds property.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Required Skills And Abilities

Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to obtain a Racing License from the Louisiana Racing Commission.

Education And Experience

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. Strong communication skills. High level of professionalism with the ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment. Work to be completed as directed in timely manner and with efficiency. Applicants are encouraged to have previous experience in live television production, and should be familiar with various aspects of television production. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.

The work environment consists of very non-demanding surroundings with a low noise level. Will occasional work in extreme heat or cold conditions.
