Director Of Nursing
Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, an affiliate of Growth Orthopedics, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to lead its Ambulatory Surgery Center in vibrant Portland, Maine!
The Position
The Director of Nursing will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), ensuring excellence in performance and alignment with the mission, vision, and goals of Orthopaedic Associates of Maine. Reporting directly to the Senior Clinical Director, with a dotted-line relationship to the SVP of Operations, this leader will oversee three direct reports and approximately 40 FTEs. This leader will manage day-to-day operations and drive growth of the service line. They will oversee compliance and survey readiness, ensuring timely action on all required tasks. Partnering with leadership, they will foster a culture of positivity and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the Senior Clinical Director. Seeking a highly visible, strategic leader with extensive expertise in ASC operations. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Director of Nursing, preferably with an OR Circulator background; orthopedic experience and AAAHC survey knowledge is preferred. Exceptional communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills will be essential.
Requirements
BSN required. Active RN license required; CNOR certification preferred. Minimum of three years of perioperative nursing experience, along with at least three years of progressive leadership experience in a comparable setting, required.
