Job Overview

We are seeking a Road Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects in Jacksonville, FL. As the primary on-site contact, you will be responsible for leading a team, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage field staff, subcontractors, and construction activities to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections are in line with project schedules.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to address any plan discrepancies.
• Implement efficient operational procedures and define construction methods.
• Supervise foremen and maintain necessary certifications.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role in road construction is mandatory; entry-level candidates will not be considered.
• Preferably hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adhere to work directives.
• 5-10+ years of experience in road construction, with a focus on materials, methods, and equipment.
• Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
