ProKatchers is seeking a travel Vascular Technologist for a travel job in Zanesville, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift :

36-40 hours / week (three 12-hr shift or four 10-hr shifts or five 8-hr shifts; start and end times are negotiable), with approximately every  5th weekend  as a call weekend (split between Call 1 and Call 2) and  1-2  Calls per week  (split between call 1 and call 2).

Work Experience :

  • THIS ASSIGNMENT REQUIRES A HIGHLY SKILLED & EXPERIENCED SURG TECH WITH A WIDE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE WITH ORTHO, NEURO, VASCULAR, ETC.
  • Candidates with minimal RTO will receive priority consideration.
  • Based upon department need and potential changes in staffing, the call volume could increase.
  • The call requirements will mirror what the current staffing takes week to week.
  • All calls require a 30-minute response time.
  • This occurs from the time of the call, to arriving on site.
  • Also, possible Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the ST’s contract.
  • This rotation is based on current patient census and staffing, so some variability could be possible to this rotation if census / staffing experiences a significant change.
  • Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • BLS required. CST preferred but not required.
  • Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
