Specialization : Internal Medicine

Job Summary :

We are seeking a hospitalist to join our established team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Strong interest in inpatient medicine
  • 1+ years hospitalist experience a plus
  • Interest in teaching / working with internal medicine residents
  • Must have excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine

    • Hospitalist Program Information :

  • 10 and 12 hour physician shifts
  • 18-20 patient visits / day for each hospitalist
  • Dedicated nocturnists
  • Closed ICU
  • No procedures required

    • About Portsmouth Regional Hospital :

  • Level II Trauma Center
  • 24 / 7 full-service ER with 2 freestanding ERs
  • 24 / 7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program
  • Internal medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry GME residency programs with Tufts University affiliation
  • 30-bed inpatient behavioral health unit
