Position Summary :

The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring the safe delivery of nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN manages critically ill or unstable patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention while maintaining professional standards of care and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and other critical patient parameters.
• Communicate promptly with physicians regarding diagnostic results, condition changes, and treatment responses.
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilated patients per established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to changes in patient condition or emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, patient privacy, and hospital safety standards.
