We are actively seeking an HVAC Estimator (Multifamily) in the Charlotte, NC area to join our award WINNING team.

Work Schedule : Monday- Friday 7am-3 : 30pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change

Target Wages : Competitive Wages with growth opportunities

Estimator Position Responsibilities :

  • Read construction drawings and specifications
  • Determine total costs for projects
  • Prepare bids
  • Choose appropriate materials, verify prices, check contractors, and calculate profits on a given project
  • Utilize effective communication skills to communicate with project managers, customers, and other associates
  • Meet with contractors, builders, owners, and engineers on the jobs to bid
  • Create additions or changes on projects currently under contract as needed
  • Prepare the billing of contract jobs

    • Estimator Experience and Qualification Requirements :

  • Required (2) year degree or equivalent field experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Strong computerized estimating skills - preference forCAD, Revit and / or Navisworks
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction
  • Valid Driver License
  • Able to pass a Drug Test anda Background check

    • Preferred Qualification Requirements

  • Previous experience with Estimating software, & proficient in all of Microsoft office tools

    • Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate
