Position Overview :
The Senior Credit Analyst, in a larger exposure underwriting role, has a critically important function to review and process transactions typically ranging from $350,000 to $2,000,000 across a variety of industries, with a focus in Healthcare, Technology, and Franchise. The position will adjudicate transactions within their designated authority and provide recommendations to management on others. The position will also be responsible for supporting small ticket deal flow on an as needed basis.

The incumbent accepts the responsibility for establishing and maintaining the internal control system associated with the essential duties and responsibilities of the functional areas that the incumbent manages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review applications for accuracy.
- Communicate with “clients” (vendors, dealers, brokers, customers etc.) in a professional manner via phone or email.
- Research industries, markets, and equipment as necessary.
- Underwrite and decision transactions generally ranging from $350,000 to $2,000,000 within designated authority.
- Provide recommendations to senior members of the credit team on transactions above designated authority.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) :
Obtain & analyze public and private information such as Dun & Bradstreet reports, Paynet reports, Secretary of State corporate name verifications, Credit Bureau reports etc.Review and spread financial statements to provide formative analysis regarding performance and trends.Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority :

Minimum 5 years of commercial underwriting experienceCompetencies :

4-year bachelor's degree required with a major in finance or management preferred.Licensing and Certification :

The position is (exempt) and the salary will be between $76,600.00 and $89,800.00 with an opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus.
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data / ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
