Position Overview The Department of Dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites applications for faculty positions at all academic ranks. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, integrity, and a commitment to teaching and mentorship. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical care in VUMC s dermatology department. Engage in educational activities, including training and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students. Participate in academic research and contribute to the department s initiatives in skin health. Qualifications Board-eligible or board-certified in Dermatology Experience or interest in academic medicine, including clinical operations, education, or research Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Our team of physicians, researchers, and advanced practice providers are experts in all aspects of skin health, including complex medical dermatology, dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology, and inpatient consultative dermatology. The department is actively involved in innovative research, focusing on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of skin diseases, skin cancer epidemiology, and novel skin imaging technologies.
