Schedule : Night shift (e.g., 9 : 30 PM7 : 30 AM typical)

Travel : 14 week rotations; company-paid lodging + per diem

Overview

Prospect Hill Properties builds fast, clean, and to spec. Were hiring an experienced Commercial Painter who can also execute secondary trades (tile, drywall / patch / finish, light carpentry / millwork install, basic electrical trim / fixture swap, flooring glue-down) with professional quality. If you own your craftrazor cut lines, tight masking, clean edges, zero touch-upsand can carry that same standard into other scopes, youll fit right in.

What Youll Do

  • Painting (primary) : Prep (wash, scrape, sand, patch), prime, and apply commercial systems (acrylic / urethane / epoxy) to walls, ceilings, doors / frames, and millwork; produce crisp cut lines and uniform film build; meet recoat / return-to-service windows.
  • Multi-trade support (secondary) :

Tile : Layout from control lines, set per ANSI A108, minimal lippage, clean movement joints, grout / caulk to spec.

  • Drywall : Level 45 finish on patches / repairs, feathered corners, straight reveals, clean access panels.
  • Misc. Fixture swaps / lighting trim, VCT / LVP / laminate glue-down, transitions, millwork / door hardware install, demo / general.
  • Work clean in occupied environments : protect finishes, nightly broom-clean, zero-defect turnovers.
  • Read plans / elevations, verify dimensions, lay out from lasers / chalk.
  • Communicate material needs in advance; close punch quickly.
  • Follow safety practices (ladders, lifts, LOTO as applicable).

    • What You Bring

  • Painting expertise : 3+ years commercial painting with portfolio / photos that show prep quality, cut-line precision, and consistent sheen / coverage.
  • Cross-trade capability : Hands-on experience in at least one secondary trade (tile preferred), plus comfort assisting others as needed.
  • Night-shift readiness; reliable travel availability (14 weeks).
  • Tools : full hand tools for painting; basic power tools preferred.
  • Safety : OSHA-10 / 30 preferred (or willingness to complete); lift card a plus.
  • Physical : lift 50+ lbs; ladders / scaffolds; extended standing / walking.
  • Professional conduct on travel (substance-free, hotel / rental compliance).

    • Current Assignment : Bethesda, MD : multi-week night shift (typically 9 : 30 PM7 : 30 AM). Additional national projects available after Bethesda.

    Pay & Travel Package

  • $22$30 / hr (based on demonstrated commercial skill, quality, and reliability)
  • $50 / day per diem when traveling
