HIM Specialist

Rome Health is seeking a HIM Specialist. This is a per diem position that will perform data entry, prepping, scanning, indexing, reconciliation, abstracting, and analyzing of discharged medical records.

The HIM Specialist will also assist with auditing and other duties as assigned.

Education :

High School diploma required, Associates degree preferred

Experience :

1-2 Years of related experience, preferably in a health care environment

Strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality regulations

Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
