Your Role as a Flavor Master :
You will be a key player in our kitchen operation, assisting our leads in preparing our signature dishes. This is not a "chef" role that requires formal certification; it's a hands-on position requiring speed, precision, and a commitment to maintaining our high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Authentic Preparation : Prepare and cook menu items (curries, tandoori items, biryanis, starters) following HOCCO's standardized recipes and traditional techniques.
- Tandoor Operation : Assist with operating the tandoor oven, ensuring breads and meats are cooked correctly (experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate).
- Quality & Consistency : Ensure every dish meets our strict quality, temperature, and presentation standards.
- Kitchen Flow : Collaborate with the team to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment and keep the food flowing efficiently.
- Hygiene First : Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of your workstation, equipment, and storage areas, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Stock Management : Assist with inventory checks, unloading deliveries, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of all ingredients.
What We're Looking For :
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, specifically with Indian cuisine and Tandoor, is a plusA positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take direction.Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive under pressure.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Perks of Joining HOCCO :
