The Field Service Electrical Supervisor manages a team of electricians, plans and oversees electrical projects and ensures proper installation of electrical wiring and components. The Field Service Electrical Supervisor maintains compliance with all safety standards and coordinates all aspects of an electrical project from start to finish, including estimating materials, assigning tasks, and quality control checks. This position reports to the General Manager and typically has 2 or more direct reports.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Reviews electrical blueprints and project specifications to understand project requirements.
• Develops detailed work plans, timelines, and project budgets.
• Estimates material needs and procures necessary equipment.
• Coordinates with other trades and project stakeholders.
• Ensures all electrical work is performed according to safety regulations and building codes.
• Inspects electrical installations to verify quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoots electrical problems and identifies solutions.
• Conducts pre- and post-installation inspections.
• Implements quality control measures to ensure project standards are met.
• Identifies and addresses potential quality issues before they become problems.
• Conducts regular quality checks throughout the project.
• Enforces all safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
• Conducts safety meetings and toolbox talks with the team.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents.
• Maintains detailed project documentation including progress reports, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Tracks project costs and expenditures.
• Prepares necessary reports for project management and clients.
• Assigns tasks to electricians based on their skills and experience.
• Trains and mentors new electricians.
• Monitors team performance and addresses any issues or concerns.
• Conducts performance evaluations and provides feedback.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
