Good Thanks Brooklyn is looking for an Experienced General manager ! Our popular second location under the Good Thanks umbrella focuses on natural wine, fun cocktail and seasonal on trend food menus. On top of this we are open from 9am doing a busy brunch, breakfast and coffee program. Our ideal candidate has a primary focus on the night service including the natural wine world, and on trend foods and dishes, service style, yet still demonstrating an understating of the restaurants AM services will be required.
As the General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our guest experience, team culture, and daily operations. You’ll work closely with our corporate leadership team to ensure the space runs smoothly, profitably, and with a clear sense of purpose and fun. We're looking for someone who leads with heart and knows how to build a team that’s as passionate about service as they are.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead by example in providing warm, attentive, and memorable hospitality to every guest, every time.
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team that shares your love of great service, great drinks, and great vibes.
- Create a positive, respectful work environment where team members feel empowered to grow.
- Be comfortable conducting performance check ins and identifying issues that do not align with our business
- Oversee all aspects of operations — from service flow and staffing to inventory and vendor management — with an eye for efficiency and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the Bar Director on menu planning, bar operations, and team education.
- Collaborate closely with Chef for general management of our menu and COGS, seasonal updates.
- Foster a culture of learning by continuously coaching the team on service standards, hospitality principles
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, and help ensure the long-term success of the business.
