Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Concrete Foreman to lead and manage our field crews. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, and finishing, as well as proven leadership skills to organize, dispatch, and oversee crews across multiple active job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical expertise and the ability to manage people and schedules effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily field operations for concrete crews, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
Plan, organize, and dispatch crews to multiple project sites as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure work is completed per design and code requirements.
Oversee all phases of concrete installation, including formwork / carpentry, reinforcement placement, pouring, finishing, curing, and strip-out.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and material needs with project managers and superintendents.
Train, mentor, and supervise crew members; enforce safety and company standards.
Track daily progress, report site conditions, and communicate with management on schedules, manpower, and production issues.
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in safe, efficient condition.
Work collaboratively with developers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of concrete construction experience, including formwork, pouring, and finishing.
2+ years in a foreman or crew lead role preferred.
Strong understanding of concrete methods, techniques, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
Proven ability to organize crews, assign tasks, and hold team members accountable.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
