Construction Estimator (Structural Steel)

Location : Baltimore, MD area

A growing structural steel and miscellaneous metals contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team. This role supports bidding, takeoffs, cost estimating, and proposal preparation for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform accurate material takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates
• Coordinate with vendors / subcontractors and review pricing
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings as needed
• Prepare bid forms, pricing breakdowns, and proposal packages
• Support project handoff and provide clarifications to project teams
