Job description
A company is looking for an Associate Actuary to manage rate levels and optimize pricing for their car insurance product.
Key Responsibilities
Become an expert on the car insurance product, understanding its mechanics and market position
Craft regulatory-compliant documentation for new machine learning models and pricing structures
Develop proprietary rating models and collaborate with various teams to support strategic growth initiatives
Required Qualifications
5+ CAS actuarial exams (ACAS preferred)
4+ years of experience in pricing, reserving, or related roles
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
General knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python
Proficiency in SQL database querying tools
