Smoky Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center is a compassionate, resident-centered nursing home committed to providing high-quality care in a safe and clean environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dedicated team.
Job Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Ensure all areas are cleaned to health, safety, and infection control standards.
Dispose of trash and medical waste according to facility protocols.
Restock supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.) as needed.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate staff.
Provide courteous service and respect the privacy and dignity of all residents.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience, especially in a healthcare or nursing home setting, is an asset.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to lift up to [30 lbs / appropriate weight] and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Must pass a background check and health screening.
